I have been doing pieces of scenery here and there, but had yet to totally complete a scene. In June, I built the bridge and abutments for the Poultney River (state line between NY & VT). The abutments were a bit unusual since the east abutment had a concrete berm added to the bottom and the west did not. Shortly after installing the abutments, I took some photos in Williamstown, VT that I thought would make a good backdrop at state line. I printed them up, and installed them. Once that was done, I figured what the heck, might as well make this the first completed scene on the layout
